After our holiday in Alghero in August 2008 - I decided to write this short guide to Alghero. Hopefully it will provide some useful information for anyone planning to visit Alghero .
We flew to Alghero from Dublin with Ryanair and booked accommodation through “Just Sardinia”. we travelled with our 4 sons - 3 teenagers and a five year old.
If you are looking for good weather, no rowdy tourists, great beaches and good food - then Alghero in Sardinia is a great place to visit.
